What is Biodiversity Interpretation?
Here's one definition:
A communication process that builds emotional and intellectual
connections between people and natural environments.

By the end of this workshop, we could have a better one&

During this interactive workshop, we'll consider some ideas behind nature/biodiversity interpretation, explore principles and techniques of interpretation, and learn by applying these ideas to our own work.

Each one teach one
The workshop is built on the understanding that every participant brings their own unique and important ideas, contributions and knowledge; and that, sharing together, we can learn and grow in our ability to interpret biodiversity.

Learning-through-doing
People seem to learn better when they are actively involved in their learning. Thus there will be plenty of interactive sessions, group activities and direct involvement - and very few lectures.

Dates
Monday the 8th & Tuesday the 9th November 2004. Participants may attend one or both days.
